These are the rules. Read them, follow them, or thou shalt be banished! No, just kidding, but we do want you to follow them to the best of your ability, and if you don't... well, maybe you will be banished....
1. LITERACY Of course, this term can often be misinterpreted and is rather vague, but to us, it means a little more than "able to read and write". Literacy, in the role playing world, is the ability to make a decently sized paragraph (or more) providing information on your characters thoughts, actions, etc. We ask for 200 words minimum, which shouldn't be too hard if you put a little time into it. Not only must you write, though, but you must do it correctly, meaning grammar is a must. No l33t speak, please. Is it really that difficult to type out the word rather than use a bunch of substitutions? Use periods, apostrophes, commas and such appropriately, please&thankyou. Don't get us wrong, mistakes are fine. They're easy to correct, and if you just don't notice we won't go off. Just keep the mistakes to a minimum, use spell check and just read over your post. We may sound harsh, but really, we just want to make the best role playing experience for all our members. One other thing is threads. You may only be in three threads at a time. We understand that not everyone is on at the same times and waiting can be boring but we don't want anyone overwhelmed with replying to too many threads.
2. RATING Every teenager loves to you profanity and engage in romance. Thankfully there isn't much of a limit! We will say our rating is around R. Swearing is acceptable we'd prefer you don't go super crazy with it though. We don't want our role players getting offended by someone who has swearing in their writing every other line. As for the teenage sexual desires, please mark anything that gets detailed with an M on the thread name. Thank you!
3. REGISTRATION You may register with whatever name you would like, however in order for your character to be accepted it must be changed to contain your character's first, middle and last name.
4. RESPECT You've got to give it to get it. Please, please, please don't stir up a bunch of drama out of role play. Unneeded drama is a big downer to pretty much everything, and we really don't want to handle it. Do you really want us to have to bring out the song "Why Can't We Be Friends"? If you have a problem with someone, then pm an admin about it and we'll be glad to help straighten things out. Also, please be respectful in role play, meaning don't take control of someone's character and don't be the all-powerful-invincible person who takes the fun out of it. Now, your character can be as nasty and rude as you wish, but don't bring it out of character. Really, it's not that complicated. Be nice, and we should all get along fine.
5. ACTIVITY There is a nice little board that you can post what's happening and the reason you won't be around for awhile, please use it. Nothing is worse than when a great member with a great characters up-and-leaves on us. If you honestly are tired of this forum and just don't feel enthusiastic about it anymore, TELL US! We are big kids, we can handle it. Just don't leave without a word, that is much worse than just hearing the truth.
6. FUN This is a legit rule, and probably the most important. If you aren't having fun, then chances are others aren't having fun and it turns this site into a big unhappy glob of people stuck underneath a raincloud. The whole purpose of the site is so we role players can enjoy ourselves doing the thing we love. So really. Have fun.
